Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, an ultra-thin recessed LED panel light can replace an existing ceiling downlight when the cut-out size, installation space and electrical requirements match. Check the panel dimensions and LED driver requirements before installation. A 6 mm body thickness does not represent the total clearance required above the ceiling.
Check the wattage, brightness in lumens, colour temperature, input voltage and ceiling cut-out size. The panel’s outer diameter must cover the opening, while the recessed section must fit inside it. Dimensions vary by model, so confirm the specifications for your selected slim LED panel light.
An ultra-thin LED panel light is a slim ceiling light designed for a neat, low-profile appearance. With a panel body thickness of just 6 mm, this recessed LED panel provides a compact lighting solution for homes, offices, shops and corridors. Allow additional installation space for the driver and wiring.
